What we collect

What you enter on the screening form: your answers about what happened, your name, mobile number and email address. We also record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you viewed, and whether you ticked the consent box.

Why we collect it

To assess whether an active case may apply to you, to pass your details to participating attorneys who may be able to represent you, and to contact you about that review.

Who we share it with

Participating attorneys and their intake teams, and the service providers who operate this site, our telephony and our case system on our behalf. We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own advertising.

Calls and texts

Calls may be recorded for quality and compliance. Consent to be contacted by autodialer, prerecorded message or text is never a condition of using this service, and can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us.

Texts are sent through the TortOS case-update programme, operated by DGY LLC for Lawsuit.live and its participating attorneys. The messages are transactional: case updates and a secure link to your own case portal. They are not marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to receive texts, with any third party for their own marketing. SMS opt-in data is used only to operate this programme.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply START to begin receiving them again. Reply HELP for help, or email legal@lawsuit.live.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us not to sell or share it. Write to legal@lawsuit.live and we will respond within the time your state allows.

Retention and security

We keep submissions for as long as needed to evaluate and support a potential claim, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. Access is restricted to the people and systems that need it.
